Biodiversity

Natural and organic environment!

On the 3ha property, several elements allow you to spend a stay in harmony with nature.

Refuge LPO.jpg
LPO Refuge

We are classified Refuge LPO. For this we respond to 4 principles:

  • Principle 1: I create the conditions conducting to the installation of wild flora and fauna

  • Principle 2: I give up chemicals

  • Principle 3: I reduce my impact on the environment

  • Principle 4: I make my Refuge a space without hunting for biodiversity

The garden

It is maintained according to the principles of Permaculture.

Every winter, we form a mulch on our various flowerbeds to limit the development of weeds, keep humidity and provide humus to the plants.

Synthetic products and herbicides are not used. Only organic products are accepted!

The lake

By going around the lake, 50m from the cottage (no fishing or swimming), you may be lucky enough to observe moorhens, ducks, herons, pheasants, swans, nutria. Depending on the season, you will see tadpoles and frogs grow. We listen to your ideas to preserve our ecosystem that has developed over the years.

Compost

A small seal is available in the kitchen to collect all of your organic waste. You can then dump it into the compost bin next to the boules pitch.

This happy mixture will be broken down by microorganisms.

We then use this 100% natural fertilizer in our garden: nourishes the plants and makes them healthier, more resistant to diseases.

The insect hotel

New in the garden, this little house will welcome insects from the surroundings. A true ally of the gardener, the hotel makes it possible to welcome auxiliary insects thus fighting pest insects, always with a view to respecting our commitment to biodiversity.

Dry toilets

Placed at the bottom of the garden, out of sight, take advantage of your stay to try them out!

Practical when playing in the garden, when you are in the swimming pool, it avoids entering the house.

You will have the chance to enjoy a beautiful view of the countryside!
